The boys track & field team placed 2nd at the IHSAA Regional track & field meet at Warsaw last night, with many kids advancing to the state meet next Friday, June 2 at IU Bloomington. The Lions scored 71 points behind Penn's 82.5. Placers, not advancing to state for the Lions were: Nick Edwards - 5th in LJ, Trinton Harris - 4th in HJ, Rodney Gates - 8th in 200, Zach Anderson - 8th in 100, and Nathan Munson - 4th in 100. Placers advancing to state are: Aalias Leonard - 3rd place in LJ, 4 x 100 m Relay - 2nd place team members are of Rodney, Zach, Nathan, and Aalias, 1600 champion and 3200 m - 3rd place is Max Malloy, Trenton Bias - 2nd in the Discus, Rae'Kwon Lemon - SP champion, and the 4 x 800 m Relay Champions with team members Max, Aaron Richter, Denis Kale, and Jackson Ezzell. Max Malloy advanced in 3 events and Aalias Leonard in 2 events. Great night boys!
