Ava Decker, discus, and Ja'leiiya Williams, 100 m Dash, both placed 2nd at the Regional Track field meet last night to advance to the state finals! Ja'leiiya and Ava will compete on Saturday, June 3 at the IU-Bloomington track & field complex. Ava will throw at 3 PM with Ja'leiiya competing in the 100 m Trials at 5 PM. Congratulations girls! Other place winners for the Lions were Shaniyah Hughes - 5th in the long jump, and the 4 x 100 m Relay with Ja'leiiya, Taylor Holt, A'Dreanna Brown, and Grace Wesselhoft placed 6th with a season best 50.9.
