Softball advanced in the IHSAA Sectional with a 17-5 victory over Warsaw. A 9 - run 7th inning was a highlight of the night. Statistical leaders for the Lions were: Libby Wiess - 4 H/4 R/2RBI/3 Doubles, Ambria Leedy - 1 H/2RBI, Laci Stimac - 5 RBI/Complete Game Pitching/9 KO's/1 ER, Liliana Escobedo - 3 H/2 RBI, and Natalie Smith - 1H/2R. The team will now play Wednesday at Penn against Concord HS at 5:30 PM. This is the Sectional Semifinal round.
