The Lions won the IHSAA Sectional Softball championship at Goshen on Saturday morning. The Lions were led by senior Laci Stimac's shutout on the mound in a 5-0 win. The game was scoreless through the bottom of the 5th when the Lions scored 2 and then added 3 more insurance runs in the bottom of the 6th on their way to their 16th win of the season and the sectional championships. The girls have won 9 or their last 10 and will now play at Penn against Penn on Wednesday, June 4 at 6 PM for the Regional championship.
