The Lions placed 4th at the IHSAA Girls Sectional Track & field meet on Tuesday night. Automatic advancers for the Lions were Roselle Robles, 3rd in the 400, Ja' Leiiya Williams, Trenyce Harris, Jazlyn Torres, and Brendayah Dale - 3rd in the 4 x 100 Relay, and Brynlee Jellison was Sectional champion in the shot put! Other qualifiers based off their efforts are: Rylee Drummund - 6th in the high jump, Madilyn Collins - 6th in the Pole Vault, Brenayah and Ja'Leiiya - 200 m dash, the 4 x 400 of Aarionna Horton, Brianna Canfield, Brendayah and Roselle, who placed 4th, and the 4th place 4 x 800 Relay of Roselle, Arianna Garcia, Alaina Dibley, and Valeria Cruz-Portillo. The Lions will return to Warsaw HS next Tuesday for the IHSAA Regional.
