On Tuesday, 5/13, the girls had a very strong showing at the NIC meet, placing 3rd overall. Earning top 5 finishes for the Lions were: Ja'leiiya Williams - 4th in the 100 and 4 x 100 Brendayah Dale - 3rd in the 200 and 4th in the 4 x 100 Trenyce Harris - 4th in the 4 x 100 Jazlyne Torres - 4th in the 4 x 100 and 5th in the Long Jump Roselle Robles - 1st in the 400, 3rd in the 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 Ariana Garcia, Alaina Dibley, and Valeria Cruz-Portillo - 3rd in the 4 x 800 Sheena Brooks - 3rd in the HH Elizabeth Higgins - 4th in the HH Briana Canfield, Mya Curry, and Aarionna Horton - 3rd in the 4 x 400 Rylee Drummond - 1st in the High Jump Madilyn Collins - 1st in the Pole Vault Kylee Floyd - 4th in the Long Jump Brynlee Jellison - 2nd in shot put and 5th in the discus The girls go to Warsaw next Tuesday for the IHSAA Sectional.
