Elkhart High School

The varsity FINALLY got in a game with Marian after 2 consecutive nights of rain outs. The boys won 7-0 with Quinn Rost pitching 5 innings with 5 K's and Trevor Hilliard finishing the shutout. Offensively, the Lions scored 2 in the 1st and 3 in the 3rd and the lead was never challenged after that. Quinn scored 2 runs and had 2 hits, Max Shreiner was 3 for 3 with 2 runs, 3 RBI's, and a homer, while Brennan Whickcar and Brody Weaver each added a hit and an RBI. We travel to Mishawaka for an 11 AM game on Saturday, 5/17 and will make up the 2nd game with Marian next Monday in Mishawaka.
