The boys had a large group qualify for the indoor state track & field meet last Saturday at the State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. The team had many season bests and outstanding performances as they wrap up the indoor season. Results include: Alfonzo Newbern - 9th in the 60 m dash in 7.01 Max Malloy - 8th in the 3200 m run in 9:16.19 Alfonzo, Zach Anderson, Michael Bond, and Alonzo Newbern - 9th in the 4 x 200 Relay in 1:30.09 Max, Kolben Ryall, Jackson Ezzell, and Otto Richter - 8th in the Distance Medley Relay in 10:29.59 Carson Pollard - 15th in the high jump at 6'0" Trenton Bias - 11th in the shot put at 51'6.25" The boys placed 32nd in the state and begin continue outdoor season next Tuesday with a home meet vs. Concord.
