The boys started their outdoor season at Mishawaka last night and came away with a 79-53 win. Winning events for the Lions were: 4 x 100 Relay: Ryder Rans, Anthony Leonard, Coleman Bell, and Jordan Malone 4 x 800 Relay: Trever Becker, Nathan Sharp, Kaden Haist, and Hayden Holdeman Long Jump: Coleman Bell Shot Put and Discus: Trenton Bias 3200 m: Aaron Richter 1600 m: Peyton Shanholt 800 m: Hayden Holdeman 200 m: Zach Anderson 100 m: Alonzo Newbern Several of the boys will compete at the state indoor meet this Saturday. Qualifiers are: Alfonzo Newbern - 60 m dash, Carson Pollard - high jump, Trenton Bias - shot put, Max Malloy - 3200 m run, and the distance medley relay of Otto Richter, Trever Becker, Jackson Ezzell, and Max Malloy. The boys then host Concord in a dual meet at Rice Field next Tuesday in the last meet prior to spring break.
