The Lions defeated Tippy Valley and Adams on Saturday in our own Invitational. Unfortunately, the 3rd round was rained out with the Lions and Marian Knights both tied at 2-0. The Lions earned the championship by means of the tiebreaker, as we lost no positions in the first 2 rounds against the same opponents as Marian. This puts the Lions at 12-2 on the season as they begin Sectional competition next Tuesday at Concord HS. The draw for the tourney is on Monday, 9/30, at 7 PM.
