Elkhart lost 2-3 to St. Joe in a very close match for a chance at the NIC championship. It was a great effort by the boys, but we came up just short. Position scores were: 1 singles: Brady Kelly lost 0-6 3-6 to Jacob Hix 2 singles: Logan Kelly lost 2-6 0-6 to Oliver Hix 3 singles: Ben Miller won 6-3 6-0 over Ben Brady 1 doubles: Noah Dibley/ Cam Miller lost 6-7(4), 6-7(7) to Westberry/Nguyen 2 doubles: Matt Grolich/ Hayden Holdeman won 6-4 3-6 6-1 over Kennedy/Mattison The varsity travels to Bethany Christian tonight while the JV will host Bethany. The varsity hosts the Lion Invite on Saturday to conclude the regular season. Sectional is at Concord next Tuesday and Wednesday.
