The girls first meet was at Ox Bow last Saturday in the Early Bird Invite. The girls placed 3rd at the 9 team event, led by a trio of seniors. Alaina Dibley 5th, Meghan Grasty 7th, and Valeria Cruz-Portillo 12th paced the Lions, who finished a close 2nd to Concord. St. Joe won the event in dominating fashion, with a total of 30 points. The girls are back at Ox Bow next Saturday when the Lions host the NIC Stomp. The girls race is at 9 AM with the boys race follow around 9:30.
