Elkhart High School

The Lions placed 5th at the IHSAA Sectional on Tuesday, 5/14, at Warsaw HS. Many ladies had season bests and we have good representation at the Regional meet at Kokomon next Tuesday. The 4 x 800 and 4 x 100 relays both placed and advanced to Regional. Team members are Valeria Cruz-Portillo, Alaina Dibley, Meghan Grasty, and Roselle Robles in the 4 x 8 and Brendayah Dale, Adrianna Brown, Grace Wesselhoft, and Ja'Leiiya Williams. Brendaya and Ja'Leiiya also advanced in the 200 m dash and Ja'Leiiya was sectional champion in the 100 m dash. In the field events, Madilyn Collins and Kyra Albright advanced in the Pole Vault by jumping 9'. Brynlee Jellison and Ava Decker advanced in the shot put and Ava and Madelyn Homo advanced to Regional in the discus. Go Lions!
