The girls track & field team competed at the Kokomo Regional on Tuesday. Ava Decker is the lone state qualifier, as Ava placed 2nd in the discus with a throw of 132'. This is her 2nd trip to state. She will throw at IU next Friday, 5/31, at 3 PM. Other results included: The 4 x 800 placed 9th with a season best time, Freshmen Brendayah Dale was 4th in the 200, Junior Ja'Leiiya Williams was 7th in the 200, the 4 x 100 placed 7th, Sophomore Brynlee Jellison was 6th in the shot put, and Freshmen Madilyn Collins was 6th in the pole vault with a career best 9'6". All place winners in this list are underclassmen, so the future looks bright for the Lions.
