The girls won their 5th straight game heading into Sectional with a convincing 11-1 win on Senior night. A 1-1 tie after 2 and a half innings became a 9-1 lead for the Lions after plating 8 in the bottom of the 3rd. Anna Knight pitched a complete game allowing only 1 earned run. Offensive Leaders were: Hits: Bailey Harris-Rogers - 3, Fionna Topolski - 2, and Natalie Smith - 2 2B: Harris-Rogers - 2, Anna Knight RBI: Harris-Rogers - 3 Runs: Topolski - 2, Smith - 2, Deana’Ja Jackson - 2 The Lions complete the season with a 13-8 record overall and an 8-3 record in the NIC, good for 3rd place.
