The varsity boys defeated Concord 69-63 on a very chilly and windy night at Concord HS. The boys came from behind, out-scoring Concord 32-9 over the final five events on the track, culminating with the 4 x 400 winning the final race to secure the 1 point lead the Lions had heading into that race. Winning events for the Lions were: Zach Anderson - 200, Max Huckleberry - 400 and 4 x 4, Max Malloy - 1600 and 3200, Aaron Richter - 800, Cade Tyrakowski - 300 IH, Trinton Harris - HJ, and Nick Edwards - LJ. Trenton Bias placed 2nd in both throw events with a PR of 158-8 in the discus, while Connor Thomas had a PR of 142-6 to place 3rd in the discus. The boys compete next at Home vs. Riley on Wednesday, 4/10.
