The Elkhart Lions are peaking at the right time, avenging a regular season loss to an NIC foe to move up to 2nd place overall in the conference meet. Leading the Lions on Saturday were: Kaulin Price - 3rd at 190, Chance McCollough - 2nd at 165, Alvernon Mitchell - 2nd at 150, Cohen Lundy - 2nd at 144, Cameron Dews - 1st at 138, and Brennan Whickcar at 157. The Lions had lost to New Prairie during the regular season and barely edged Riley, but defeated both those teams at the NIC meet. They will host the IHSAA Sectional meet on Saturday, 1/27 starting at 9 AM in the EHS Fieldhouse on the main campus.
