The girls basketball team ring in the new year with a victory against conference foe South Bend Riley (58- 20) on Friday evening at North Side Gym. Right from the tip-off, the Lions defense set the tone, forcing 31 turnovers. The Lions shared the ball extremely well as three players scored in double figures.
