The Lions swept Washington and Marian in boys and girls swimming & diving on Monday night. Scores were: Boys: Elkhart -139, Washington - 18; Elkhart - 140, Marian - 20; Washington - 56, Marian 50 Girls: Elkhart - 152, Washington - 8; Elkhart -133, Marian - 45; Marian - 109, Washington - 8 First place finishers for the Lady Lions were: Homo, Moyer, Renon, and Tarver in the 200 medley relay, Homo in the 200 IM and 100 back, Tarver in the 50 and 500 free, O'Dell in diving, Metzcus in the 100 free, Tarver, Davis, Homo, and Metzcus in the 200 free relay, Moyer in the 100 breast, and Metzcus, Davis, Renon, and Moyer in the 400 free relay. First place finishers for the Lions boys were: Kazmierczak, Metzcus, Pettis, Khamkueang in the 200 yard medley relay, Kazmierczak in the 200 and 500 free, Metzcus in the 200 IM and 100 breast, Khamkueang in the 50 free and 100 butterfly, Richter in the 100 free and 100 back, Metzcus, Pettis, Khamkueang, and Kazmierczak in the 200 free relay, and Pettis, Malloy, Scott, and Marquez in the 400 Free Relay. The boys are now 2-1 on the season and the girls are now 2-3 on the season. Both teams host Jimtown and Bremen this Thursday for "Teacher Appreciation Night". Diving will start at 5:30, swimming "around" 6, with the teacher appreciation ceremony "around" 6:30 PM. Go Lions!
