The girls basketball team had a strong defensive effort go for naught as we struggled on the offensive end against Northridge, losing 39-21. A 7 - 7 tie after one quarter turned into a 21-11 deficit at halftime that the Lions cold not overcome. Shaniyah Stout led the Lions in scoring with 13, Danica Barnes had 4 assists, and Christa Porter pulled down 5 rebounds. The girls will host John Glenn at Tubbs Gym next Thursday with the JV game starting at 6 PM.
