The girls basketball team picked up another NIC win vs South Bend Clay (57-19) in the final game between the two schools. Lions’ stellar defense set the tone in the first quarter as the Lions held the Colonials scoreless. Leading scorers for the Lions were: Shaniyah Hughes 14 points, Danica Barnes 13 points, and Trenyce Harris 11 points Leading assists for the Lions were: Brendayah Dale 6 assists and Danica Barnes 5 assists Leading steals for the Lions were: Shaniyah Hughes 6 steals, Danica Barners 5 steals, and Trenyce Harris 5 steals The girls host Northridge in Varsity only at 6 PM next on Tuesday, 11/21 at Northside Gym. The varsity boys game will follow.
